April: School Holiday Schedule and Keeping Motivated

It is currently School Holidays, as well as the public holiday Anzac Day on Wednesday. During this time I am running a reduced schedule, as many people are away. Please email or call/text 0412422868 or message me via my FACEBOOK page for details and bookings. If you are away or have children at home on school holidays and finding it difficult to keep up an exercise routine you will find me on Facebook or Instagram with quick #doitwithme tips anywhere, anytime, but the best exercise is having fun with your kids on holidays and doing activities to keep them active rather than too much screen time. I was at the Fitness Show and Filex18 Fitness Convention this weekend and quite a few parents brought their kids, big and small and what I observed was a lot of screen time for kids and not much activity, while parents were busy trying out exercise gadgets and bucket loads of protein powders.
There is so much active fun to do and I did see some fabulous new gadgets too. My favourite was the floating Yoga Mat, where a variety of core conditioning exercises can be done as well as beautiful relaxation while floating…..This will have to be part of my 1/2 Day Retreat Programs at the Body and Balance Studio pool.
Again if you are looking for motivation, taking a walk along the coast line of our amazing beaches is not only a great way to exercise, but to think GRATITUDE for living in is such a beautiful environment while enjoying the perfect weather right now.
